Our standard ground tester is for Type B wall outlets. These are most often found in the USA, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, and usually other parts of the Caribbean islands.
First make sure must your Type B three-prong wall outlet and/or power strip is grounded. There are easy steps to follow. Simply plug the three prong (holed) outlet Tester into your wall outlet or power strip.
When two lights, the center and right ones, are illuminated at the same time, your outlet is now adequately grounded.
