Man Rolling Bolder Up Mountain: Build Resistance in 2022

Five Ways to Build Resilience
and Bounce Back in 2022

A key word that will help get us through difficult times is resilience. It is not only applicable, as we have all learned to cope through a pandemic, but it may very well be the word of the decade. By definition, resilience means adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress, which pretty much sums up what we’ve all been going through to some degree for the last two years. It means getting up after being knocked down, knocking on new doors when old ones close, and knowing that success can happen no matter how many times we failed before.

Resilience means not giving up, going the extra mile no matter what, and waking each morning to experience the possibilities of a new day. It stands for flexibility, adaptability and survival. It calls for patience and effort, physically, mentally, and emotionally. And all of it is key to becoming more resilient and ultimately more successful with what you want to do with your life. In spite of all the missteps and misinformation that may thwart you in your path, if you give up and don’t show up, you will never know how close you came to succeeding.

At TRU47 we are driven by our passion to protect people’s health through our products. And while we seek to promote nature’s own resilient prescriptions, with silver chief among them, adapting them to modern-day modalities like masks, science tested Stellarcleenz cloths, nasal inhalers, toners, essential oils and more, it’s not an easy task by any means. It calls for resilience every step of the way.

The 5 R’s to Build Your Resilience

The steps we take to keep on going are universal in their application and personally rewarding in our shared quest for success. We are happy to share the five R’s of resilience we find to be most effective.

Reflect. Instead of thinking about any negative impact the last two years have brought, think about the positive opportunities in 2022, and reflect on the good things that did and can happen. We are focused on helping people get past COVID and other communicable illnesses with our product lines, the silver lining, if you will, to staying safe and healthy in the face of pathogens that have come our way. Ask yourself what your sense of purpose is. What motivates you? What makes you feel happy, alive and excited about today and tomorrow? Take the time to reflect on the positives and deflect negative thinking.

Reframe. Resilient people understand that things change, and that carefully made plans may occasionally need to be amended or scrapped. If something is not working, make a change. If you find yourself facing a challenge you feel is unsurmountable, edit your outlook. We are always taking another look at what works and what doesn’t when it comes to telling the story of silver, and strive to find a new narrative that attracts the attention of the people we are trying to help.

Regroup. Resilient people don't let negativity or failure derail their efforts.
We look for the lesson in every situation. When we experience a crisis, we re-evaluate and make the choice to remain calm and in control, rather than react with panic and mayhem. Your reaction is always up to you. And stressing over it can cause more than a momentary flight or fight response, it can truly impact your health in the long term. Maintain perspective and choose the solution that protects, not rejects, your best interests.

Rebound. Resilient people are confident that they're going to succeed, despite the setbacks that they might be facing. Self-confidence enables you to take risks and enjoy rewards others who gave up will miss out on. As much as resilience involves bouncing back from difficult experiences, it can also empower you to grow and even improve your life along the way. Remember that it’s not the cards you were dealt, it’s how you play them that makes all the difference.

Revitalize. Resilience calls for focus on the core components that keep you strong and committed in the face of the adversity, including healthy thinking and fostering wellness. Taking care of your body is critical for building resilience and stamina, and includes proper nutrition, regular exercise and ample sleep. It also calls for choosing products that nurture and protect your health, like organic products nature made. Of course, at TRU we have made it our mission to proactively revitalize ourselves and our customers with our silver-based products, thoughtfully designed to inhibit the growth of germs, fungi and viruses that plague our modern-day lives.

We’ve woven 99.99% pure silver into our wipes, scarves, handle covers, masks and more to shield you from harmful pathogens that may come your way. We also infused colloidal silver into our gels and spritzes to protect vulnerable surfaces too, giving you a time-tested, endlessly effective solution to fending off unseen viruses and bacteria out to cause a body harm. And new to our TRU47 product line are our essential oils made with pure silver powder to keep your skin glowing with good health.

Silver is one of the most resilient antidotes to infection in the history of humankind, showing us that the power of nature’s own elements can and do stand up to just about anything that comes her way, over and over again. That’s resilience.
